Vandal defaces Rego Park, Queens synagogue with swastika

Police are searching for a vandal who scrawled a swastika on a Queens synagogue last week, authorities said.

The suspect, shown in a surveillance image released Sunday, walked up to the Rego Park Jewish Center on Queens Boulevard near 65th Road Wednesday and used a marker to draw the anti-Semitic symbol on the building, police said.

The suspect, who cops say is between 20 and 30 years old, then took off.

The incident comes a week and a half after a vandal spray-painted a swastika and an anti-black message on NYU’s Tisch Hall Feb. 6, authorities.
